Rebuild and Recover Capital Funding Campaign Scroll down for more information What is Rebuild and Recover? There was a time when people attended church in their neighborhood, close to home. Today, there are churches everywhere and people have personal preferences about where they worship and don't mind driving a distance to worship! Post-pandemic, many families do not physically attend church anymore. As a result, communities are lacking in services and programs designed to strengthen and build better neighborhoods. The Rebuild and Recover Capital Funding Campaign is about more than buying a building; it's about reaching the community, offering a one-stop shop for the spirit, soul, and body. Our mission is to establish a location where we can expand, rebuild, and be a blessing to the community in which we are planted. We have a three-phase plan to continue to advance the legacy by serving the community through education and community outreach programs.
Phase One Purchase a place of worship. We have identified a building! We need to raise $350,000.00 within 90 days to secure a down payment and closing costs on a beautiful church, whose asking price is $2.5 million. We are believing that God will stir the hearts of the people, as he did in the book of Ezra Chapter 1 to donate to our cause. Ezra wanted to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. God stirred the heart of King Cyrus, his brethren, and neighbors, and they gave to Ezra's campaign. Even the King gave back what was stolen to help Ezra to rebuild the Temple. We are praying that our neighbors, friends, and anyone who would like to contribute to a good work will help us to rebuild.
