Who Are We?

The Scriptures teach us that we should lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. What is the armor of light? The armor is what we put on the protect us from impending danger and anything that could cause us harm spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The light is the word that came out of the mouth of God when He said, "let there be light." This is not the light that comes from the sun and moon which was created by God on the fourth day (Genesis 1:16). The word spoken by God was his breath (spirit). The Bible says, the Spirit of God moved upon the waters of the earth. The earth was without form void, full of darkness (Genesis 1:1). Scripture teach us "...for God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ," (II Corinthians 4:4-6). Christ is the Light of the world!

The AOLCWC will endeavor to guide the believer in God's love and with the help of the Holy Spirit on how important it is to walk in God's light (Matthew 5:15-16; Ephesians 5:8; I John 1:5-7). Putting on the armor of light is putting on everything that Jesus the Christ represents according to sacred scriptures! Many confessing Christians have Christ in their heart however, moving about in the world, many confessing Christians are not willing to lay aside the deeds of darkness and things of the flesh that prevent those in our world from seeing Christ.

I believe that we we living in the last days and those that are asleep in Christ must wake up. Putting on the armor of light is being in position to discern darkness through the wisdom and knowledge which comes from knowing God through relationship and a consecrated life. AOLCWC endeavors to bring knowledge and light to areas we must put off or lay aside. The Holy scriptures says, "My people perish because of the lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)
